Yamaha XT & TT Range
This page covers the XT & TT range of motorcycles that have CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition ) .We cover models built from approximately 1982 to 1996 within the XT'S & TT range. XT units come in 3 different wire configurations per model depending on the country it was orginally sold in ie: 8 wire, 10 wire & 11 wire
We also have unit for the XT 250 that was produced between 1980 to 1984
Importent Note: Some of the later model Yamaha bikes were supplied with TCI (Transistor Controlled Ignition) as shown in the left image below.These units are identified by the connector built into the unit as opposed to the CDI unit which has individual leads going to its connectors (shown in right image). Please be aware that a CDI unit CAN NOT be used in place of a TCI unit
